Miswar b. Makhrama reported: Some cloaks were presented to the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ). My father Makhrama said to me: Come along with me to him; perhaps we may be able to get anything out of that (stock of cloaks). My father stood at the door and began to talk. The Apostle of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) recognised him by his voice and came out and there was a cloak with him, and he was showing its beauties and saying: I kept it for you, I kept it for you.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْخَطَّابِ زِيَادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحَسَّانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ وَرْدَانَ أَبُو صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ السَّخْتِيَانِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ قَالَ قَدِمَتْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقْبِيَةٌ فَقَالَ لِي أَبِي مَخْرَمَةُ انْطَلِقْ بِنَا إِلَيْهِ عَسَى أَنْ يُعْطِيَنَا مِنْهَا شَيْئًا قَالَ فَقَامَ أَبِي عَلَى الْبَابِ فَتَكَلَّمَ فَعَرَفَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَوْتَهُ فَخَرَجَ وَمَعَهُ قَبَاءٌ وَهُوَ يُرِيهِ مَحَاسِنَهُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ خَبَأْتُ هَذَا لَكَ خَبَأْتُ هَذَا لَكَ

  ایو ب سختیا نی نے عبد اللہ بن ابی ملیکہ سے اور انھوں نے حضڑت مسور بن مخرمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی انھوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس قبائیں آئیں تو مجھے میرے والد مخرمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہا مجھے آپ کے پاس لے چلو امید ہے آپ ہمیں بھی ان میں سے ( کو ئی قباء ) عنا یت فر ما ئیں گے ۔ میرے والد نے دروازے پر کھڑے ہو کر گفتگو کی تو نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کی آواز پہچا ن لی ۔ آپ باہر نکلے تو قباء آپ کے ساتھ تھی اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم انھیں اس کی خوبیاں دکھا رہے تھے اور فر ما رہے تھے : " میں نے یہ تمھا رے لیے چھپا کر رکھی تھی میں نے تمھا رے لیے چھپا کر رکھی تھی ۔
