وحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، وَعَمْرٌو، ح وحَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ: قَبَّلَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ الْحَجَرَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «أَمَ وَاللهِ، لَقَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّكَ حَجَرٌ، وَلَوْلَا أَنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقَبِّلُكَ مَا قَبَّلْتُكَ» زَادَ هَارُونُ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ: قَالَ عَمْرٌو: وَحَدَّثَنِي بِمِثْلِهَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَسْلَمَ

Urdu Translation

  مجھے حرملہ بن یحییٰ نے حدیث سنائی ، ( کہا : ) ہمیں ابن وہب نے خبر دی ، ( کہا : ) مجھے یونس اورعمرو نے خبر دی ، اسی طرح مجھے ہارون بن سعید ایلی نے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ابن وہب نے عمروسےخبر دی ، انھوں نے ابن شہاب سے ، انھوں نے سالم سے روایت کی کہ ان کے والد ( عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ) نے انھیں حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ( ایک مرتبہ ) حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے حجر اسود کو بوسہ دیا اور فرمایا : ہاں ، اللہ کی قسم!میں اچھی طرح جانتاہوں کہ تو ایک پتھر ہے ، اگر میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو نہ دیکھا ہوتا کہ وہ تمھیں بوسہ دیتے تھے تو میں تمھیں ( کبھی ) بوسہ نہ دیتا ۔ ہارون نے اپنی روایت میں ( کچھ ) اضافہ کیا ، عمرو نے کہا : مجھے زید بن اسلم نے اپنے والد اسلم سے اسی کے مانند روایت کی تھی ۔

English Translation

Salim narrated on the authority of his father (Allah be pleased with him) that 'Umar b. al-Khattib (Allah be pleased with him) kissed (the Black Stone) and then said: By Allah, I know that you are a stone and if I were not to see Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) kissing you, I would not have kissed you. Harun said in his narration: A hadith like this has been transmitted to me by Zaid b. Aslam on the authority of his father Aslam.
