وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، وَاللَّفْظُ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، مَوْلَى آلِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ، فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ عُمَرُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: «مُرْهُ فَلْيُرَاجِعْهَا، ثُمَّ لِيُطَلِّقْهَا طَاهِرًا، أَوْ حَامِلًا

Urdu Translation

  ابوطلحہ کے آزاد کردہ غلام محمد بن عبدالرحمٰن نے سالم سے ، انہوں نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے اپنی بیوی کو جبکہ وہ حائضہ تھی ، طلاق دے دی ۔ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہ بات نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے عرض کی تو آپ نے فرمایا : " اسے حکم دو کہ وہ اس ( مطلقہ بیوی ) سے رجوع کرے ، پھر اسے حالت طہر میں یا حالت حمل میں طلاق دے ۔ " ( حمل میں طلاق دی جائے گی تو وضع حمل تک آسانی سے عدت کا شمار ہو سکے گا

English Translation

Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported that he divorced his wife while she was in the state of menses. 'Umar (Allah be pleased with him) made mention of it to Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) and he said: Command him to take her back, then divorce her when she is pure or she is pregnant.
