وحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَقَالَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ: فَسَأَلَ عُمَرُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُرَاجِعَهَا حَتَّى يُطَلِّقَهَا طَاهِرًا مِنْ غَيْرِ جِمَاعٍ، وَقَالَ: «يُطَلِّقُهَا فِي قُبُلِ عِدَّتِهَا

Urdu Translation

  عبدالوارث بن عبدالصمد کے دادا عبدالوارث بن سعید نے ایوب سے اسی سند کے ساتھ ( یہی ) روایت بیان کی اور ( اپنی ) حدیث میں کہا : حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس کے بارے میں سوال کیا تو آپ نے انہیں حکم دیا کہ وہ ( ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ ) اس سے رجوع کرے حتی کہ اسے حالت طہر میں مجامعت کیے بغیر طلاق دے ، اور کہا : " وہ اسے عدت کے آغاز میں طلاق دے ۔ " ( یعنی اس طہر کے آغاز میں جس سے عدت شمار ہونی ہے

English Translation

Ayyub reported a hadith like this with the same chain of narrators and he said: Umar (Allah be pleased with him) asked Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) about it and he commanded him that he should take her back until she is divorced in the state of purity without having a sexual intercourse with her, and said: Divorce her in the beginning of her 'Idda or her 'Idda commences.
