قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: فَأَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: لَمَّا مَضَى تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ لَيْلَةً دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، بَدَأَ بِي، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّكَ أَقْسَمْتَ أَنْ لَا تَدْخُلَ عَلَيْنَا شَهْرًا، وَإِنَّكَ دَخَلْتَ مِنْ تِسْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ أَعُدُّهُنَّ، فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ الشَّهْرَ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ»، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «يَا عَائِشَةُ، إِنِّي ذَاكِرٌ لَكِ أَمْرًا، فَلَا عَلَيْكِ أَنْ لَا تَعْجَلِي فِيهِ حَتَّى تَسْتَأْمِرِي أَبَوَيْكِ»، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ عَلَيَّ الْآيَةَ {يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُلْ لِأَزْوَاجِكَ} [الأحزاب: 28] حَتَّى بَلَغَ {أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا} [النساء: 40]، قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: قَدْ عَلِمَ وَاللهِ أَنَّ أَبَوَيَّ لَمْ يَكُونَا لِيَأْمُرَانِي بِفِرَاقِهِ، قَالَتْ: فَقُلْتُ: أَوَفِي هَذَا أَسْتَأْمِرُ أَبَوَيَّ؟ فَإِنِّي أُرِيدُ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَالدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ، قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ، فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَيُّوبُ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: لَا تُخْبِرْ نِسَاءَكَ أَنِّي اخْتَرْتُكَ، فَقَالَ لَهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ أَرْسَلَنِي مُبَلِّغًا، وَلَمْ يُرْسِلْنِي مُتَعَنِّتًا»، قَالَ قَتَادَةُ: «صَغَتْ قُلُوبُكُمَا، مَالَتْ قُلُوبُكُمَا

Urdu Translation

  زہری نے کہا : مجھے عروہ نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے خبر دی ، انہوں نے کہا : جب انتیس راتیں گزر گئیں ، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے ہاں تشریف لائے ، آپ نے میرے ( گھر ) سے ابتدا کی ، میں نے عرض کی : اللہ کے رسول! آپ نے قسم کھائی تھی کہ مہینہ بھر ہمارے پاس نہیں آئیں گے ، اور آپ انتیسویں دن تشریف لائے ہیں ، میں انہیں شمار کرتی رہی ہوں ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" بلاشبہ مہینہ انتیس دن کا ہے ۔ "" پھر فرمایا : "" عائشہ! میں تم سے ایک بات کرنے لگا ہوں ، تمہارے لیے کوئی حرج نہیں کہ تم اپنے والدین سے بھی مشورہ کرنے تک اس میں جلدی نہ کرو ۔ "" پھر آپ نے میرے سامنے تلاوت فرمائی : "" اے نبی! اپنی بیویوں سے کہہ دیجیے "" سے لے کر "" بہت بڑا اجر ہے "" تک پہنچ گئے ۔ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا : اللہ کی قسم! آپ کو بخوبی علم تھا کہ میرے والدین مجھے کبھی آپ سے جدائی کا مشورہ نہیں دیں گے ۔ کہا : تو میں نے عرض کی : کیا میں اس کے بارے میں اپنے والدین سے مشورہ کروں گی؟ میں یقینا اللہ ، اس کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور آخرت کے گھر کی طلب گار ہوں ۔ معمر نے کہا : مجھے ایوب نے خبر دی کہ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا : آپ اپنی دوسری بیویوں کو نہ بتائیں کہ میں نے آپ کو چن لیا ہے ۔ تو نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا : "" اللہ تعالیٰ نے مجھے مبلغ ( پہنچانے والا ) بنا کر بھیجا ہے ، کمزوریاں ڈھونڈنے والا بنا کر نہیں بھیجا ۔ "" قتادہ نے کہا : ( صَغَتْ قُلُوبُكُمَا ۖ ) ( التحریم : 4 : 66 ) کا معنی ہے : تم دونوں کے دل مائل ہو چکے ہیں

English Translation

Ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) said: I came along with Umar until we reached Marr al-Zahran (the name of a place), and the rest of the hadith is the same as narrated by Sulaiman b. Bilal (except with) the variation (of words) that I said: (What) about these two women? He said: They were Hafsa and Umm Salama. And he made this addition: I came to the apartments and in every apartment there was (the noise) of weeping. And this addition was also made: And he (the Holy Prophet) had taken an oath of remaining away from them for a month, and when twenty-nine days had passed, he visited them.
