حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ، أَخْبَرَهُ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ، بَيْعِ ثَمَرِ النَّخْلِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلًا، وَبَيْعِ الْعِنَبِ بِالزَّبِيبِ كَيْلًا، وَبَيْعِ الزَّرْعِ بِالْحِنْطَةِ كَيْلًا

Urdu Translation

  محمد بن بشیر نے کہا : ہمیں عبیداللہ نے نافع سے حدیث بیان کی کہ حضرت عبداللہ ( بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ ) نے انہیں خبر دی کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مزابنہ سے منع فرمایا ، اور مزابنہ یہ ہے کہ کھجور کے تازہ پھل کو خشک کھجور کی ماپی ہوئی مقدار کے عوض بیچا جائے اور انگور کو منقیٰ کی ماپی ہوئی مقدار کے عوض بیچا جائے اور ( خوشیوں میں ) گندم کی کھیتی کو ماپی ہوئی مقدار کے عوض بیچا جائے

English Translation

Abdullah (b. Umar) reported that Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) forbade Muzabana, i. e. buying of fresh dates (on) the trees for dry dates by measure, and the buying of grapes for raisins by measure and the selling of field of corn for corn by measure.
