حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَفْوَانَ الْأُمَوِيُّ، ح وحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «الْحَلِفُ مَنْفَقَةٌ لِلسِّلْعَةِ، مَمْحَقَةٌ لِلرِّبْحِ»

Urdu Translation

  حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ، آپ فرما رہے تھے : " قسم سامان کو فروغ دینے والی ، ( بعد ازاں ) نفع کو مٹانے والی ہے ۔ "

English Translation

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) said he heard Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: Swearing produces a ready sale for a commodity, but blots out the blessing.
