حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ، أَنَّ أَرْوَى خَاصَمَتْهُ فِي بَعْضِ دَارِهِ، فَقَالَ: دَعُوهَا وَإِيَّاهَا، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «مَنْ أَخَذَ شِبْرًا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ حَقِّهِ، طُوِّقَهُ فِي سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»، اللهُمَّ، إِنْ كَانَتْ كَاذِبَةً فَأَعْمِ بَصَرَهَا، وَاجْعَلْ قَبْرَهَا فِي دَارِهَا، قَالَ: فَرَأَيْتُهَا عَمْيَاءَ تَلْتَمِسُ الْجُدُرَ تَقُولُ: أَصَابَتْنِي دَعْوَةُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، فَبَيْنَمَا هِيَ تَمْشِي فِي الدَّارِ مَرَّتْ عَلَى بِئْرٍ فِي الدَّارِ، فَوَقَعَتْ فِيهَا، فَكَانَتْ قَبْرَهَا

Urdu Translation

  عمر بن محمد کے والد ( محمد بن زید ) نے حضرت سعید بن زید بن عمرو بن نفیل رضی اللہ عنہ سے حدیث بیان کی کہ ارویٰ نے ان کے ساتھ گھر کے کسی حصے کے بارے میں جھگڑا کیا تو انہوں نے کہا : اسے اور گھر کو چھوڑ دو ، ( جو چاہے کرتی رہے ) میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا تھا ، آپ فرما رہے تھے : "" جس نے حق کے بغیر ایک بالشت زمین بھی حاصل کی ، قیامت کے دن وہ سات زمینوں ( تک ) اس کی گردن کا طوق بنا دی جائے گی ۔ "" ( پھر اس کی ایذا رسانی سے تنگ آ کر انہوں نے دعا کی : ) اے اللہ! اگر یہ جھوٹی ہے تو اس کی آنکھوں کو اندھا کر دے اور اس کے گھر ہی میں اس کی قبر بنا دے ۔ ( محمد بن زید نے ) کہا : میں نے اس عورت کو دیکھا وہ اندھی ہو گئی تھی ، دیواریں ٹٹولتی پھرتی تھی اور کہتی تھی : مجھے سعید بن زید کی بددعا لگ گئی ہے ۔ ایک مرتبہ وہ گھر میں چل رہی تھی ، گھر میں کنویں کے پاس سے گزری تو اس میں گزر گئی اور وہی کنواں اس کی قبر بن گیا ۔

English Translation

Sa'id b. Zaid b. 'Amr b. Nufail (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Arwi (bint Uwais) disputed with him (in regard to a part of the land) of his hodse. He said: Leave it and take off your claim from it, for I heard Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: He who took a span of land without his right would be made to wear around his neck seven earths on the Day of Resurrection. He (Sa'id b. Zaid) said: O Allah, make her blind if she has told a lie and make her grave in her house. He (the narrator) said: I saw her blind groping (her way) by touching the walls and saying: The curse of Sa'id b. Zaid has hit me. And it so happened that as she was walking in her house, she passed by a well in her house and fell therein and that be- came her grave.
