Sahih Muslim 4905 - The Book Of Government

The above tradition has also been narrated through two different chains of transmitters on the authority of Abu Sa'id Khudri and Yahya, respectively.

وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ - قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، مَوْلَى الْمَهْرِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ بَعَثَ بَعْثًا ‏.‏ بِمَعْنَاهُ ‏.‏

حسین نے یحییٰ ( بن ابی کثیر ) سے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : مجھے مہری کے مولیٰ ابوسعید نے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : مجھے حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے حدیث بیان کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک لشکر بھیجا ، اسی ( سابقہ حدیث ) کے مانند ۔
