Baab Amoor E Hakomat Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ شُفَيٍّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ، يَقُولُ: {وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ} [الأنفال: 60]، أَلَا إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْيُ، أَلَا إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْيُ، أَلَا إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْيُ

Urdu Translation

  ثمامہ بن شُفی سے روایت ہے ، انہوں نے حضرت عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ، آپ منبر پر فرما رہے تھے : " ( عربی ) " تم ان کے مقابلے کے لیے جتنی کر سکو ، قوت تیار کرو ۔ " ( الانفال 60 : 8 ) سن رکھو! قوت تیر اندازی ( کا نام ) ہے ، سن رکھو! قوت تیر اندازی ( کا نام ) ہے ، سن رکھو! قوت تیر اندازی ( کا نام ) ہے ۔ "

English Translation

It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Amir who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) say-and he was delivering a sermon from the pulpit: Prepare to meet them with as much strength as you can afford. Beware, strength consists in archery. Beware, strength consists in archery. Beware, strength consists in archery.
