Baab Mashroobat Ka Bayan

و حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ وَعِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ وَعُقْبَةَ بْنِ التَّوْأَمِ عَنْ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْخَمْرُ مِنْ هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ الْكَرْمَةِ وَالنَّخْلَةِ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ الْكَرْمِ وَالنَّخْلِ

Urdu Translation

  زہیر بن حرب اور ابوکریب نے کہا : ہمیں وکیع نےاوزاعی ، عکرمہ بن عمار اورعقبہ بن توام سے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نےابوکثیر سے ، انھوں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " شراب ان دودرختوں سے بنائی جاتی ہے : انگور کی بیل اورکھجور کے درخت ( کے پھل ) سے ۔ ابو کریب کی روایت میں ( الْكَرْمَةِ وَالنَّخْلَةِ کی بجائے ) " الكرم والنخل " ہے ۔ ( مفہوم ایک ہی ہے )

English Translation

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: Wine comes from vine and date-palms. Abu Kuraib has narrated it with a slight variation of words.
