و حَدَّثَنَاه أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيُضِيفَهُ فَلَمْ يَكُنْ عِنْدَهُ مَا يُضِيفُهُ فَقَالَ أَلَا رَجُلٌ يُضِيفُ هَذَا رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ يُقَالُ لَهُ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ فَانْطَلَقَ بِهِ إِلَى رَحْلِهِ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ وَذَكَرَ فِيهِ نُزُولَ الْآيَةِ كَمَا ذَكَرَهُ وَكِيعٌ

Urdu Translation

  ابن فضیل نے اپنے والد سے ، انھوں نے ابو حازم سے انھوں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : ایک شخص رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا تا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اسے مہمان بنالیں ، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس اس کی میزبانی کےلئے کچھ بھی نہ تھا ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " کوئی ایسا شخص ہے جواس کو مہمان بنائے؟اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر رحم فرمائے! " انصار میں سے ایک شخص کھڑے ہوگئے ، انھیں ابو طلحہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کہاجاتا تھا ، وہ اس ( مہمان ) کواپنے گھر لے گئے ، اس کے بعد جریر کی حدیث کے مطابق حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے بھی وکیع کی طرح آیت نازل ہونے کا ذکر کیا ۔

English Translation

Abu Huraira reported that a man came to Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) so that he should entertain him as a guest, but he had nothing with which he could entertain him. He, therefore, asked if there was any person who would entertain him (assuring the audience) that Allah would show mercy to him. A person from the Ansar who was called Abu Talha stood up and he took him to his house. The rest of the hadith is the same and mention is (also) made in that about the revelation of the verse as narrated by Waki'.
