حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ وَحَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا تَدْخُلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلَا صُورَةٌ

Urdu Translation

  یو نس نے مجھے ابن شہا ب سے ، خبر دی انھوں نے عبید اللہ بن عبد اللہ بن عتبہ سئے روایت کی کہ انھوں نے حضرت عبد اللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا ، وہ کہہ رہے تھے : میں نے حضرت ابو طلحہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا ، آپ فرما رہے تھے : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ، آپ فر ما رہے تھے : " فرشتے اس گھر میں دا خل نہیں ہو تے جس میں کتا ہو نہ ( اس گھر میں جس میں ) کو ئی تصویر ہو ۔ "

English Translation

Abu Talha reported: I heard Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: Angels do not enter the house in which there is a dog or a statue.
