This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Usama up to the slaughtering of a sheep, but he. did not make mention of the subsequent words.

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، جَمِيعًا، عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ إِلَى قِصَّةِ الشَّاةِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الزِّيَادَةَ بَعْدَهَا

ابو معاویہ نے کہا : ہمیں ہشام نے اسی سند کے ساتھ بکری ( ذبح کرنے ) کے قصے تک ابو اسامہ کی حدیث کی طرح حدیث بیا ن کی ۔ اس کے بعد کے زائد الفاظ بیان نہیں کیے ۔
