حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، وَاللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ، كَانَ لَهُ حِمَارٌ يَتَرَوَّحُ عَلَيْهِ، إِذَا مَلَّ رُكُوبَ الرَّاحِلَةِ وَعِمَامَةٌ يَشُدُّ بِهَا رَأْسَهُ، فَبَيْنَا هُوَ يَوْمًا عَلَى ذَلِكَ الْحِمَارِ، إِذْ مَرَّ بِهِ أَعْرَابِيٌّ، فَقَالَ: أَلَسْتَ ابْنَ فُلَانِ بْنِ فُلَانٍ، قَالَ: بَلَى، فَأَعْطَاهُ الْحِمَارَ، وَقَالَ: ارْكَبْ هَذَا وَالْعِمَامَةَ، قَالَ: اشْدُدْ بِهَا رَأْسَكَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِهِ غَفَرَ اللهُ لَكَ أَعْطَيْتَ هَذَا الْأَعْرَابِيَّ حِمَارًا كُنْتَ تَرَوَّحُ عَلَيْهِ، وَعِمَامَةً كُنْتَ تَشُدُّ بِهَا رَأْسَكَ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ مِنْ أَبَرِّ الْبِرِّ صِلَةَ الرَّجُلِ أَهْلَ وُدِّ أَبِيهِ بَعْدَ أَنْ يُوَلِّيَ وَإِنَّ أَبَاهُ كَانَ صَدِيقًا لِعُمَرَ»

Urdu Translation

  ابراہیم بن سعد اور لیث بن سعد دونوں نے یزید بن عبداللہ بن اسامہ بن ہاد سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے عبداللہ بن دینار سے ، انہوں نے حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے حوالے سے روایت کی کہ وہ مکہ مکرمہ کے لیے نکلتے تو جب اونٹ کی سواری سے تھک جاتے تو ان کا گدھا ( ساتھ ہوتا ) تھا جس پر وہ سہولت کے لیے سواری کرتے ۔ اور ایک عمامہ ( ہوتا ) تھا جو اپنے سر پر باندھتے تھے ۔ تو ایسا ہوا کہ ایک دن وہ اس گدھے پر سوار تھے کہ ایک بادیہ نشیں ان کے قریب سے گزرا ، انہوں نے اس سے کہا؛ تم فلاں بن فلاں کے بیٹے نہیں ہو! اس نے کہا : کیوں نہیں ( اسی کا بیٹا ہوں ) تو انہوں نے گدھا اس کو دے دیا اور کہا : اس پر سوار ہو جاؤ اور عمامہ ( بھی ) اسے دے کر کہا : اسے سر پر باندھ لو ۔ تو ان کے کسی ساتھی نے ان سے کہا : اللہ آپ کی مغفرت کرے! آپ نے اس بدو کو وہ گدھا بھی دے دیا جس پر آپ سہولت ( تکان اتارنے ) کے لیے سواری کرتے تھے اور عمامہ بھی دے دیا جو اپنے سر پر باندھتے تھے ۔ انہوں نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ، آپ فرما رہے تھے : " والدین کے ساتھ بہترین سلوک میں سے یہ ( بھی ) ہے کہ جب اس کا والد رخصت ہو جائے تو اس کے ساتھ محبت کا رشتہ رکھنے والے آدمی کے ساتھ اچھا سلوک کرے ۔ " اور اس کا والد ( میرے والد ) حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کا دوست تھا ۔

English Translation

Abdullah b. Dinar reported that when 'Abdullah b. 'Umar set out to Mecea, 'he kept a donkey with him which he used as a diversion from the tedium of journey on the camel's back and had a turban which he tied round his head. One day, as he was riding the donkey a desert Arab happened to pass by him. He ('Abdullah b. 'Umar) said: Arn't you so and so? He said: Yes He gave him his donkey and said: Ride it, and tie the turban round your head. Some of his companions said: May Allah pardon you, you gave to this desert Arab the donkey on which you enjoyed ride for diversion and the turban which you tied round your. head. Thereupon he said: Verily I heard Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: The finest act of goodness is the kind treatment of a person to the loved ones of his father after his death and the father of this person was a friend of 'Umar
