وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ح، وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ قَالَتْ: جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: إِحْدَانَا يُصِيبُ ثَوْبَهَا مِنْ دَمِ الْحَيْضَةِ، كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ بِهِ، قَالَ: «تَحُتُّهُ، ثُمَّ تَقْرُصُهُ بِالْمَاءِ، ثُمَّ تَنْضَحُهُ، ثُمَّ تُصَلِّي فِيهِ»

Urdu Translation

  وکیع نے بیان کیا ، ہمیں ہشام نے حدیث سنائی : اور یحییٰ بن سعید نے ہشام بن عروہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : مجھے فاطمہ ( بنت منذر ) نے حدیث سنائی ، انہوں نے ( اپنی اور ہشام دونوں کی دادی ) حضرت اسماء ؓ سے روایت کی کہ ایک عورت نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس آئی اور پوچھا : ہم میں سے کسی کو کپڑے کو حیض کا خون لگ جاتا ہے تو وہ اس کے بارے میں کیا کرے ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : ’’اسے کھرچ ڈالے ، پھر پانی ڈال کر اسے رگڑے ، پھر اس پر پانی بہا دے ( دھولے ) ، پھر اس میں نماز پڑھ لے ۔ ‘ ‘

English Translation

Asma (daughter of Abu Bakr) reported: A woman came to the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) and said: What should one do if the blood of menses smears the garment of one amongst us? He (the Holy Prophet) replied: She should scrape it, then rub it with water, then pour water over it and then offer prayer in it.
