Sunan Abu Dawood 1675 - Zakat (Kitab Al-Zakat)

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ الْمَسْجِدَ فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَطْرَحُوا ثِيَابًا فَطَرَحُوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَمَرَ لَهُ مِنْهَا بِثَوْبَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ حَثَّ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ فَجَاءَ فَطَرَحَ أَحَدَ الثَّوْبَيْنِ فَصَاحَ بِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ خُذْ ثَوْبَكَ .

Urdu Translation

ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ایک شخص مسجد میں داخل ہوا تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لوگوں کو حکم دیا کہ وہ کپڑے ( بطور صدقہ ) ڈال دیں، انہوں نے ڈال دیا، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس شخص کے لیے ان میں سے دو کپڑوں ( کے دیئے جانے ) کا حکم دیا، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لوگوں کو صدقہ پر ابھارا تو وہ شخص دو میں سے ایک کپڑا ڈالنے لگا، آپ نے اسے ڈانٹا اور فرمایا: اپنے کپڑے لے لو ۱؎ ۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Saeed al-Khudri: A man entered the mosque. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم commanded the people to throw their clothes as sadaqah. Thereupon they threw their clothes (as sadaqah). He then asked him to take two clothes from them. He reprimanded him and said: Take your clothe.
