Sunan Abu Dawood 1752 - The Rites Of Hajj (Kitab Al-Manasik Wa'l-Hajj)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْمَعْنَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُأَبَا حَسَّانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِبَدَنَةٍ فَأَشْعَرَهَا مِنْ صَفْحَةِ سَنَامِهَا الْأَيْمَنِ ثُمَّ سَلَتَ عَنْهَا الدَّمَ وَقَلَّدَهَا بِنَعْلَيْنِ ثُمَّ أُتِيَ بِرَاحِلَتِهِ فَلَمَّا قَعَدَ عَلَيْهَا وَاسْتَوَتْ بِهِ عَلَى الْبَيْدَاءِ أَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ذی الحلیفہ میں ظہر پڑھی پھر آپ نے ہدی کا اونٹ منگایا اور اس کے کوہان کے داہنی جانب اشعار ۱؎ کیا، پھر اس سے خون صاف کیا اور اس کی گردن میں دو جوتیاں پہنا دیں، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی سواری لائی گئی جب آپ اس پر بیٹھ گئے اور وہ مقام بیداء میں آپ کو لے کر سیدھی کھڑی ہوئی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حج کا تلبیہ پڑھا۔

English Translation

Ibn Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم offered the noon prayer at Dhu al-Hulaifah. He then sent for a camel and made incision in the right side of its hump ; he then took out the blood by pressing it and tied two shoes in its neck. He then rode on his mount (camel) and reached al-Baida, he raised his voice for the talbiyah for performing Hajj.
