Kaab bin Ujrah said that the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم came upon him (during their stay) at Al Hudaibiyyah. He asked do the insects of your head (lice) annoy you? He said Yes. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said Shave your head, then sacrifice a sheep as offering or fast three days or give three sa’s of dates to six poor people.

حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ خَالِدٍ الطَّحَّانِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْكَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِهِ زَمَنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَدْ آذَاكَ هَوَامُّ رَأْسِكَ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَعَمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ احْلِقْ ثُمَّ اذْبَحْ شَاةً نُسُكًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ صُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ أَطْعِمْ ثَلَاثَةَ آصُعٍ مِنْ تَمْرٍ عَلَى سِتَّةِ مَسَاكِينَ .

کعب بن عجرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم صلح حدیبیہ کے زمانے میں ان کے پاس سے گزرے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کیا تمہیں تمہارے سر کی جوؤں نے ایذا دی ہے؟ کہا: ہاں، اس پر نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: سر منڈوا دو، پھر ایک بکری ذبح کرو، یا تین دن کے روزے رکھو، یا چھ مسکینوں کو تین صاع کھجور کھلاؤ ۱؎ ۔
