حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَازِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي يَعْلَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُسَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ أَخَذَ رَجُلًا يَصِيدُ فِي حَرَمِ الْمَدِينَةِ الَّذِي حَرَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَسَلَبَهُ ثِيَابَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَجَاءَ مَوَالِيهِ فَكَلَّمُوهُ فِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرَّمَ هَذَا الْحَرَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ وَجَدَ أَحَدًا يَصِيدُ فِيهِ فَلْيَسْلُبْهُ ثِيَابَهُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَا أَرُدُّ عَلَيْكُمْ طُعْمَةً أَطْعَمَنِيهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَكِنْ إِنْ شِئْتُمْ دَفَعْتُ إِلَيْكُمْ ثَمَنَهُ.

Urdu Translation

سلیمان بن ابی عبداللہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہ کو دیکھا کہ انہوں نے ایک شخص کو پکڑا جو مدینہ کے حرم میں جسے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حرم قرار دیا ہے شکار کر رہا تھا، سعد نے اس سے اس کے کپڑے چھین لیے تو اس کے سات ( ۷ ) لوگوں نے آ کر ان سے اس کے بارے میں گفتگو کی، آپ نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے حرم قرار دیا ہے اور فرمایا ہے: جو کسی کو اس میں شکار کرتے پکڑے تو چاہیئے کہ وہ اس کے کپڑے چھین لے ، لہٰذا میں تمہیں وہ سامان نہیں دوں گا جو مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دلایا ہے البتہ اگر تم چاہو تو میں تمہیں اس کی قیمت دے دوں گا۔

English Translation

Narrated Sulayman ibn Abu Abdullah: Sulayman ibn Abu Abdullah said: I saw Saad ibn Abu Waqqas seized a man hunting in the sacred territory of Madina which the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم had declared to be sacred. He took away his clothes from him. His patrons came to him and spoke to him about it, but he replied: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم declared this territory to be sacred, saying: If anyone catches someone hunting in it he should take away from him his clothes. So I shall not return to you a provision which the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم has given me, but if you wish I shall pay you its price.
