حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَدِّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فِي هَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ رُدُّوا عَلَيْهِمْ نِسَاءَهُمْ وَأَبْنَاءَهُمْ فَمَنْ مَسَكَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ هَذَا الْفَيْءِ فَإِنَّ لَهُ بِهِ عَلَيْنَا سِتَّ فَرَائِضَ مِنْ أَوَّلِ شَيْءٍ يُفِيئُهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ دَنَا يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ بَعِيرٍ فَأَخَذَ وَبَرَةً مِنْ سَنَامِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لِي مِنْ هَذَا الْفَيْءِ شَيْءٌ وَلَا هَذَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَفَعَ أُصْبُعَيْهِ إِلَّا الْخُمُسَ وَالْخُمُسُ مَرْدُودٌ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَدُّوا الْخِيَاطَ وَالْمِخْيَطَ. فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ فِي يَدِهِ كُبَّةٌ مِنْ شَعْرٍ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخَذْتُ هَذِهِ لِأُصْلِحَ بِهَا بَرْذَعَةً لِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَمَّا مَا كَانَ لِي وَ لِبَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ فَهُوَ لَكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَمَّا إِذْ بَلَغَتْ مَا أَرَى فَلَا أَرَبَ لِي فِيهَا وَنَبَذَهَا .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما اسی قصہ کی روایت میں کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ان کی عورتوں اور بچوں کو واپس لوٹا دو، اور جو کوئی اس مال غنیمت سے اپنا حصہ باقی رکھنا چاہے تو ہم اس کو اس پہلے مال غنیمت سے جو اللہ ہمیں دے گا چھ اونٹ دیں گے ، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک اونٹ کے قریب آئے اور اس کی کوہان سے ایک بال لیا پھر فرمایا: لوگو! میرے لیے اس مال غنیمت سے کچھ بھی حلال نہیں ہے ، اور اپنی دونوں انگلیاں اٹھا کر کہا: یہاں تک کہ یہ ( بال ) بھی حلال نہیں سوائے خمس ( پانچواں حصہ ) کے، اور خمس بھی تمہارے ہی اوپر لوٹا دیا جاتا ہے، لہٰذا تم سوئی اور دھاگا بھی ادا کر دو ( یعنی بیت المال میں جمع کر دو ) ، ایک شخص کھڑا ہو اس کے ہاتھ میں بالوں کا ایک گچھا تھا، اس نے کہا: میں نے اس کو پالان کے نیچے کی کملی درست کرنے کے لیے لیا تھا؟ اس پر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: رہا میرا اور بنی عبدالمطلب کا حصہ تو وہ تمہارے لیے ہے ، تو اس نے کہا: جب معاملہ اتنا اہم ہے تو مجھے اس کی کوئی ضرورت نہیں ہے، اور اس نے اسے ( غنیمت کے مال میں ) پھینک دیا ۱؎۔

English Translation

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم then said: Return to them (Hawazin) their women and their sons. If any of you withholds anything from this booty, we have six camels for him from the first booty which Allah gives us. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم then approached a camel, and taking a hair from its hump said: O people, I get nothing of this booty, not even this (meanwhile raising his two fingers) but the fifth, and the fifth is returned to you, so hand over threads and needles. A man got up with a ball of hair in his hand and said: I took this to repair the cloth under a pack-saddle. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: You can have what belongs to me and to the Banu al-Muttalib. He said: If it produces the result that I now realise, I have no desire for it.
