حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَاجَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي خُبَيْبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَمَّا بَعْدُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ كَتَمَ غَالًّا فَإِنَّهُ مِثْلُهُ .

Urdu Translation

سمرہ بن جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے   انہوں نے حمد و صلاۃ کے بعد کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرماتے تھے: جو شخص غنیمت میں خیانت کرنے والے کی خیانت کو چھپائے تو وہ بھی اسی جیسا ہے ۔

English Translation

Narrated Samurah ibn Jundub: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: To begin with, anyone who conceals one who has been dishonest about booty is like him.
