حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قِصَّةِ وَفْدِ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ فِيمَ نَشْرَبُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ؟ فَقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ عَلَيْكُمْ بِأَسْقِيَةِ الْأَدَمِ الَّتِي يُلَاثُ عَلَى أَفْوَاهِهَا .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے وفد عبدالقیس کے واقعے کے سلسلے میں روایت ہے کہ   وفد کے لوگوں نے پوچھا: ہم کس چیز میں پیئں اللہ کے نبی؟ تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم ان مشکیزوں کو لازم پکڑو جن کے منہ باندھ کر رکھے جاتے ہوں ۔

English Translation

In the story of the deputation of AbdulQays Ibn Abbas said: They (the people) asked: In which should we drink, Prophet of Allah? The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: You should use those skin vessels that are tied at their mouths.
