It was narrated that 'Aishah said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) drink standing and sitting, and he prayed barefoot and with sandals, and he left (after prayer) to the right and to the left.

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْدِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ مَكْحُولًا حَدَّثَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ مَسْرُوقَ بْنَ الْأَجْدَعِحَدَّثَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَشْرَبُ قَائِمًا وَقَاعِدًا،‏‏‏‏ وَيُصَلِّي حَافِيًا وَمُنْتَعِلًا،‏‏‏‏ وَيَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو کھڑے ہو کر اور بیٹھ کر، اور ننگے پاؤں اور جوتے پہن کر بھی نماز پڑھتے دیکھا ہے، اور آپ سلام پھیر نے کے بعد  ( کبھی )  اپنے دائیں طرف پلٹتے، اور  ( کبھی )  اپنے بائیں طرف۔
