It was narrated from 'Aishah that a woman who suffered from Istihadah during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was told that it was a stubborn vein (i.e., one that would not stop bleeding). She was told to delay Zuhr and bring 'Asr forward, and to perform one Ghusl for both, and to delay Maghrib and bring 'Isha' forward, and to perform one Ghusl for both, and to perform one Ghusl for Subh.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال شُعْبَةُ:‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مُسْتَحَاضَةً عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قِيلَ لَهَا:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّهُ عِرْقٌ عَانِدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأُمِرَتْ أَنْ تُؤَخِّرَ الظُّهْرَ وَتُعَجِّلَ الْعَصْرَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهُمَا غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتُؤَخِّرَ الْمَغْرِبَ وَتُعَجِّلَ الْعِشَاءَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهُمَا غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتَغْتَسِلَ لِصَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانہ میں ایک مستحاضہ عورت سے کہا گیا کہ یہ ایک رگ  ( کا خون )  ہے جو رکتا نہیں، چنانچہ اسے حکم دیا گیا کہ وہ ظہر دیر سے پڑھے اور عصر جلدی پڑھ لے، اور دونوں نمازوں کے لیے ایک غسل کرے، اور مغرب دیر سے پڑھے اور عشاء جلدی پڑھے، اور دونوں کے لیے ایک غسل کرے، اور فجر کے لیے ایک غسل کرے۔
