أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَشْيَبُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَالًا فَلَمْ يُؤَدِّ زَكَاتَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مُثِّلَ لَهُ مَالُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شُجَاعًا أَقْرَعَ لَهُ زَبِيبَتَانِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَأْخُذُ بِلِهْزِمَتَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَا مَالُكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَا كَنْزُكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ تَلَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ:‏‏‏‏ وَلا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ سورة آل عمران آية 180 .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس شخص کو اللہ تعالیٰ مال دے اور وہ اس مال کی زکاۃ ادا نہ کرے، تو قیامت کے دن اس کا مال گنجا سانپ بن جائے گا، اس کی آنکھ کے اوپر دو سیاہ نقطے ہوں گے، وہ قیامت کے دن اس کے دونوں کلّے پکڑے گا، اور اس سے کہے گا: میں تیرا مال ہوں، میں تیرا خزانہ ہوں“۔ پھر آپ نے آیت کریمہ کی تلاوت کی: «ولا يحسبن الذين يبخلون بما آتاهم اللہ من فضله» ”اللہ تعالیٰ نے جنہیں مال دیا ہے وہ بخیلی کر کے یہ نہ سمجھیں کہ یہ ان کے لیے بہتر ہے بلکہ وہی مال قیامت کے دن ان کے گلے کا طوق ہو گا“ ( آل عمران: ۱۸۰ ) ۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said: If Allah gives a person wealth and he does not pay Zakah on it, his wealth will appear to him on the Day of Resurrection as a bald-heated Shuja'a with two dots above its eyes. It will take hold of the corners of his mouth on the Day of Resurrection and will say: 'I am your wealth, I am your hoarded treasure.' The he recited this verse: 'And let not those who covetously withhold of that which Allah has bestowed on them of His Bounty (wealth) and think that it is good for them (and so they do not pay the obligatory Zakah). '
