Baab Hajj Ke Ehkaam O Manasik

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ سَبْعًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَصَلَّى خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَطَافَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ سورة الأحزاب آية 21.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم آئے، تو آپ نے بیت اللہ کے سات پھیرے لگائے اور مقام ( ابراہیم ) کے پیچھے دو رکعتیں پڑھیں، اور صفا و مروہ کے درمیان سعی کی، اور فرمایا: «لقد كان لكم في رسول اللہ أسوة حسنة» ”رسول اللہ کی ذات میں تمہارے لیے بہترین نمونہ ہے“ ( تو اللہ کا رسول جیسا کچھ کرے ویسے ہی تم بھی کرنا ) ( الأحزاب: ۲۱ ) ۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Amr - meaning, bin Umar - said: The Messenger of Allah came and circumambulated the House seven times, then he prayed two Rakahs behind the Maqam and performed Sai between As-Safa and Al-Marwah, and he said: 'Indeed in the Messenger of Allah you have a good example to follow.
