Baab Nikah-Shadi Biah, Ke Ehkaam O Masail

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي مَرْحُومُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَطَّارُ أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ ثَابِتًا الْبُنَانِيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَعِنْدَهُ ابْنَةٌ لَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَعَرَضَتْ عَلَيْهِ نَفْسَهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَكَ فِيَّ حَاجَةٌ ؟ .

Urdu Translation

ثابت بنانی کہتے ہیں کہ   میں انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس تھا، وہاں ان کی ایک بیٹی بھی موجود تھی، انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: ایک عورت رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئی، اور اپنے آپ کو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے پیش کر دیا، اور کہا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا آپ کو میری ضرورت ہے؟ ۱؎۔

English Translation

Thabit Al-Bunani said: I was with Anas bin Malik and a daughter of his was with him. He said: 'A woman came to the Messenger of Allah and offered herself in marriage to him. She said: O Messenger of Allah, do you want to marry me?'
