أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ فُلَيْتٍ، عَنْ جَسْرَةَ بِنْتِ دَجَاجَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: مَا رَأَيْتُ صَانِعَةَ طَعَامٍ مِثْلَ صَفِيَّةَ أَهْدَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَاءً فِيهِ طَعَامٌ، فَمَا مَلَكْتُ نَفْسِي أَنْ كَسَرْتُهُ، فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ كَفَّارَتِهِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَاءٌ كَإِنَاءٍ وَطَعَامٌ كَطَعَامٍ .
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے ام المؤمنین صفیہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے جیسی کھانا بنانے والی کوئی عورت نہیں دیکھی، انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس ایک برتن بھیجا جس میں کھانا تھا، میں اپنے کو قابو میں نہ رکھ سکی اور میں نے برتن توڑ دیا پھر میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس کے کفارے کے متعلق پوچھا تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”برتن کے جیسا برتن اور کھانے کے جیسا کھانا“۔
