Baab Mazar'At-Bitai Pe Zameen Dene Ke Ehkaam O Masail

أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَهُوَ أَبُو عُمَيْرِ بْنُ النَّحَّاسِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ هُوَ الْفَاخُورِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا ضَمْرَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِابْنِ شَوْذَبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَطَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَزْرَعْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ لِيُزْرِعْهَا وَلَا يُؤَاجِرْهَا .

Urdu Translation

جابر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   ہمیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خطاب فرمایا اور کہا:  جس کی کوئی زمین ہو تو اس میں کھیتی کرے یا کسی سے اس میں  ( بلا کرایہ لیے )  کھیتی کرائے اور اسے کرائیے پر نہ دے ۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: The Messenger of Allah addressed us and said: 'Whoever has land, let him cultivate it or give it to someone else to cultivate, and let him not rent it out.'
