Baab Khareed O Farookht Ke Ehkaam O Masail

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ سَالِمٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِيهِ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ . (حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) وقَالَ وقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ رَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے درخت کے پھل ( کھجور ) توڑے ہوئے پھلوں ( کھجور ) سے بیچنے سے منع فرمایا۔ عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں: مجھ سے زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیع عرایا میں اجازت عطا فرمائی ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Salim, from his father, that: the Prophet forbade selling fresh dates still on the tree for dried dates. Ibn 'Umar said: Azid bin Thabit narrated to me, that Allah's Messenger permitted that in the case o 'Ayaya '
