Baab Khareed O Farookht Ke Ehkaam O Masail

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مَالِكٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ نَافِعٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ،‏‏‏‏ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ:‏‏‏‏ بَيْعُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلًا،‏‏‏‏ وَبَيْعُ الْكَرْمِ بِالزَّبِيبِ كَيْلًا .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیع مزابنہ سے منع فرمایا، مزانبہ درخت پر لگے کھجور کو توڑے ہوئے کھجور سے ناپ کر بیچنا، اور بیل پر لگے تازہ انگور کو توڑے ہوئے انگور ( کشمش ) سے ناپ کر بیچنا۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that: the messenger of Allah forbade Muzabana, and Muzabanah means selling fresh dates still on tree for dried dates by measure, and selling fresh grapes for raisins by measure.
