أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ السُّنِّيِّ قِرَاءَةً،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ لَفْظًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ مَعْمَرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ:‏‏‏‏ قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْخِتَانُ .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   مجھ سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”پانچ چیزیں دین فطرت میں سے ہیں: مونچھ کاٹنا، بغل کے بال اکھیڑنا، ناخن کترنا، ناف کے نیچے کے بال مونڈنا اور ختنہ کرنا“۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said to me: 'Five things are from the Fitrah: Trimming the mustache, plucking the armpit hairs, clipping the nails, shaving the pubes and circumcision.'
