It was narrated from Anas bin Malik, that : When the Messenger of Allah [SAW] supplicated, he would say: Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi, wal-hazani, wal-'ajzi, wal-kasali, wal-bukhli, wal-jubni, wad-dala'id-daini, wa ghalabatir-rijal (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from worry, grief, incapacity, laziness, miserliness, cowardice, difficult debt and being overpowered by men.)

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ السِّجِسْتَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو مَوْلَى الْمُطَّلِبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا دَعَا قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ:‏‏‏‏ سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ شَيْخٌ ضَعِيفٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنَّمَا أَخْرَجْنَاهُ لِلزِّيَادَةِ فِي الْحَدِيثِ.

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب دعا کرتے تو فرماتے: «اللہم إني أعوذ بك من الهم والحزن والعجز والكسل والبخل والجبن وضلع الدين وغلبة الرجال» ”اللہ! میں حزن و ملال، رنج و غم، عاجزی و کاہلی، کنجوسی و بزدلی، قرض کے بوجھ اور لوگوں کے غلبے سے میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں“۔ ابوعبدالرحمٰن ( نسائی ) کہتے ہیں: سعید بن سلمہ ضعیف ہیں ۱؎۔ ہم نے ان کی روایت اس لیے بیان کی ہے کہ اس کی سند ( ایک راوی کا ) اضافہ ہے ۲؎۔
