It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: Intoxicants are unlawful in small or large amounts.

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْمُسْكِرُ قَلِيلُهُ وَكَثِيرُهُ حَرَامٌ .

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ نشہ لانے والی چیز خواہ کم ہو ( جو نشہ نہ لائے ) یا زیادہ حرام ہے۔
