It was narrated that Ibn Shubrumah said: May Allah have mercy on Ibrahim. Other scholars had strict views on Nabidh but he was lenient.

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا جَرِيرٌ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ شُبْرُمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ شَدَّدَ النَّاسُ فِي النَّبِيذِ وَرَخَّصَ فِيهِ .

ابن شبرمہ کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ابراہیم نخعی پر رحم کرے، لوگ نبیذ کے سلسلے میں سختی کرتے ہیں اور وہ اس کی اجازت دیتے ہیں۔
