حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدَبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ ضَرَبَ مَثَلَ الْجُمُعَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ التَّبْكِيرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏كَنَاحِرِ الْبَدَنَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏كَنَاحِرِ الْبَقَرَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏كَنَاحِرِ الشَّاةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَتَّى ذَكَرَ الدَّجَاجَةَ .

Urdu Translation

سمرہ بن جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جمعہ اور جمعہ کے لیے سویرے آنے والے کی مثال اونٹ قربان کرنے والے، گائے قربان کرنے والے اور بکری قربان کرنے والے کی بیان فرمائی ہے، یہاں تک کہ مرغی ( کی قربانی ) کا بھی ذکر فرمایا۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) described the likeness of Friday, saying that those who come earliest are like the one who sacrifices a camel, then like one who sacrifices a cow, then like one who sacrifices a sheep, until he made mention of a chicken.
