It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that a man entered the mosque one Friday when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was delivering the sermon. He started stepping over the people’s shoulders, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Sit down, for you have annoyed (people) and you are late.’”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَجُلًا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَجَعَلَ يَتَخَطَّى النَّاسَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ اجْلِسْ فَقَدْ آذَيْتَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَآنَيْتَ .

جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   ایک آدمی جمعہ کے دن مسجد میں داخل ہوا، اس وقت رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم خطبہ دے رہے تھے، وہ لوگوں کی گردنیں پھلانگ کر آگے جانے لگا، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: بیٹھ جاؤ، تم نے لوگوں کو تکلیف پہنچائی، اور آنے میں تاخیر بھی کی ۱؎۔
