Sunan Ibn Majah 1273

It was narrated that ‘Ata’ said: “I heard Ibn ‘Abbas say: ‘I bear witness that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed before the sermon, then he delivered the sermon. And he thought that the women had not heard, so he went over to them and reminded them (of Allah) and preached to them and enjoined them to give in charity, and Bilal was spreading his hands like this, and the women started giving their earrings, rings and things.’”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ أَشْهَدُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ خَطَبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَرَأَى أَنَّهُ لَمْ يُسْمِعِ النِّسَاءَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَتَاهُنَّ فَذَكَّرَهُنَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَوَعَظَهُنَّ وَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبِلَالٌ قَائِلٌ بِيَدَيْهِ هَكَذَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَجَعَلَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ تُلْقِي الْخُرْصَ وَالْخَاتَمَ وَالشَّيْءَ .

عطاء کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کو کہتے سنا کہ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خطبے سے پہلے نماز ادا کی، پھر خطبہ دیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے محسوس کیا کہ عورتوں تک آواز نہیں پہنچ سکی ہے لہٰذا آپ ان کے پاس آئے، ان کو ( بھی ) وعظ و نصیحت کی، اور انہیں صدقہ و خیرات کا حکم دیا، اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں سے اپنا دامن پھیلائے ہوئے تھے جس میں عورتیں اپنی بالیاں، انگوٹھیاں اور دیگر سامان ڈالنے لگیں ۱؎۔
