It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Prophet (ﷺ) was shrouded in three white Yemeni cloths, among which there was no shirt and no turban. It was said to ‘Aishah: “They used to claim that he was shrouded in Hibarah.” ‘Aishah said: “They brought a Hibarah Burd, but they did not shroud him in it.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ كُفِّنَ فِي ثَلَاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ بِيضٍ يَمَانِيَةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَيْسَ فِيهَا قَمِيصٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا عِمَامَةٌ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقِيلَ لِعَائِشَةَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُ قَدْ كَانَ كُفِّنَ فِي حِبَرَةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ:‏‏‏‏ قَدْ جَاءُوا بِبُرْدِ حِبَرَةٍ فَلَمْ يُكَفِّنُوهُ .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو تین سفید یمنی کپڑوں میں کفنایا گیا، جس میں کرتہ اور عمامہ نہ تھا، ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا گیا کہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دھاری دار چادر میں کفنایا گیا تھا؟ تو عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا: لوگ دھاری دار چادر لائے تھے مگر انہوں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اس میں نہیں کفنایا ۱؎۔
