It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ الْجُعْفِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا ضَرَرَ وَلَا ضِرَارَ .

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلیاللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کسی کو نقصان پہنچانا جائز نہیں نہ ابتداء ً نہ مقابلۃ ً ۔
