حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ح وحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ زَيْنَبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهَا مَرِضَتْ فَأَمَرَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْ تَطُوفَ مِنْ وَرَاءِ النَّاسِ وَهِيَ رَاكِبَةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي إِلَى الْبَيْتِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ:‏‏‏‏ وَالطُّورِ ‏‏‏‏ 1 ‏‏‏‏ وَكِتَابٍ مَسْطُورٍ ‏‏‏‏ 2 ‏‏‏‏ سورة الطور آية 1-2 ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ ابْن مَاجَةَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   وہ بیمار ہوئیں تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں لوگوں کے پیچھے سوار ہو کر طواف کرنے کا حکم دیا، تو میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو بیت اللہ کی طرف منہ کر کے نماز پڑھتے دیکھا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سورۃ «والطور وكتاب مسطور» کی قرات فرما رہے تھے۔ ابن ماجہ کہتے ہیں: یہ ابوبکر بن ابی شیبہ کی روایت ہے۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Umm Salamah that she fell sick, so the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) told her to perform Tawaf from behind the people, riding. She said: “I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) praying facing the House, and reciting: “By the Tur (Mount), And by the Book Inscribed.’” [52:1-2]
