حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَنَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَارَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَوَّامِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْأَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَلْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْجَرَادِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَكْثَرُ جُنُودِ اللَّهِ لَا آكُلُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا أُحَرِّمُهُ .

Urdu Translation

سلمان فارسی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ٹڈی کے متعلق سوال کیا گیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ٹڈی اللہ تعالیٰ کا بہت بڑا لشکر ہے، نہ تو میں اسے کھاتا ہوں، اور نہ ہی اسے حرام قرار دیتا ہوں ۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Salman said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was asked about locusts. He said: ‘(They are) the most numerous troop of Allah. I neither eat them nor forbid them.’”
