Baab Ayaam Fitn Ke Ehkaam Aur Ummat May Waqay Hone Wale Fitno Ki Paishan Goyian

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ بْنِ زِيَادٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ مَوْلَى أَسْمَاءَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ بْنَ عُمَرَ اشْتَرَى عِمَامَةً لَهَا عَلَمٌ،‏‏‏‏ فَدَعَا بِالْجَلَمَيْنِ فَقَصَّهُ،‏‏‏‏ فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَسْمَاءَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهَا،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ بُؤْسًا لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ يَا جَارِيَةُ،‏‏‏‏ هَاتِي جُبَّةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ فَجَاءَتْ بِجُبَّةٍ مَكْفُوفَةِ الْكُمَّيْنِ،‏‏‏‏ وَالْجَيْبِ،‏‏‏‏ وَالْفَرْجَيْنِ بِالدِّيبَاجِ .

Urdu Translation

اسماء رضی اللہ عنہا کے غلام ابوعمر کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو دیکھا کہ انہوں نے ایک عمامہ خریدا جس میں گوٹے بنے تھے، پھر قینچی منگا کر انہیں کتر دیا ۱؎، میں اسماء رضی اللہ عنہا کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، اور اس کا تذکرہ کیا، تو انہوں نے کہا: تعجب ہے عبداللہ پر، ( ایک اپنی خادمہ کو پکار کر کہا: ) اے لڑکی! رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا جبہ لے آ، چنانچہ وہ ایک ایسا جبہ لے کر آئی جس کی دونوں آستینوں، گریبان اور کلیوں کے دامن پر ریشمی گوٹے تھے۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Abu ‘Umar, the freed slave of Asma’, said: “I saw Ibn ‘Umar buying a turban that had some markings, then he called for a pair of scissors and cut that off. I entered upon Asma’ and mentioned that to her, and she said: ‘May ‘Abdullah perish, O girl! Give me the garment of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).’ A garment was brought that was hemmed with brocade on the sleeves, necklines and openings (at the front and back).”
