It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “I saw wristbands of gold on my arms, so I blew into them, and I interpreted them as being these two liars, Musailimah and ‘Ansi.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ فِي يَدِي سِوَارَيْنِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَنَفَخْتُهُمَا،‏‏‏‏ فَأَوَّلْتُهُمَا هَذَيْنِ الْكَذَّابَيْنِ مُسَيْلِمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَالْعَنْسِيَّ .

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میں نے خواب میں سونے کے دو کنگن دیکھے، پھر میں نے انہیں پھونک ماری ( تو وہ اڑ گئے ) ، پھر میں نے اس کی تعبیر یہ سمجھی کہ اس سے مراد نبوت کے دونوں جھوٹے دعوے دار مسیلمہ اور عنسی ہیں ۱؎۔
