Sunan Ibn Majah 4034 - Tribulations

It was narrated from Abu Darda’ that my close friend (ﷺ) advised me: “Do not associate anything with Allah, even if you are cut and burned. Do not neglect any prescribd prayer deliberately, for whoever neglects it deliberately no longer has the protection of Allah. And do not drink wine, for it is the key to all evil.”

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا رَاشِدٌ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحِمَّانِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ لَا تُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا،‏‏‏‏ وَإِنْ قُطِّعْتَ وَحُرِّقْتَ،‏‏‏‏ وَلَا تَتْرُكْ صَلَاةً مَكْتُوبَةً مُتَعَمِّدًا،‏‏‏‏ فَمَنْ تَرَكَهَا مُتَعَمِّدًا فَقَدْ بَرِئَتْ مِنْهُ الذِّمَّةُ،‏‏‏‏ وَلَا تَشْرَبْ الْخَمْرَ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّهَا مِفْتَاحُ كُلِّ شَرٍّ .

ابو الدرداء رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میرے خلیل صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ کو وصیت کی ہے کہ تم اللہ تعالیٰ کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک مت کرنا اگرچہ تم ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دئیے جاؤ، اور جلا دئیے جاؤ، اور فرض نماز کو جان بوجھ کر مت چھوڑنا، کیونکہ جس نے جان بوجھ کر اسے چھوڑا تو اس پر سے اللہ کی پناہ اٹھ گئی، اور تم شراب مت پینا، کیونکہ شراب تمام برائیوں کی کنجی ہے ۔
