Baab Jannat Ka Wasf Aur Is Ki Naimaton Ka Tazkira

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي حَمَّادُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ الزُّرَقِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِيهِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُؤْمِنٍ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ عَيْنَيْهِ دُمُوع،‏‏‏‏ وَإِنْ كَانَ مِثْلَ رَأْسِ الذُّبَابِ،‏‏‏‏ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ ثُمَّ تُصِيبُ شَيْئًا مِنْ حُرِّ وَجْهِهِ،‏‏‏‏ إِلَّا حَرَّمَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّارِ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس مومن کی آنکھ سے اللہ تعالیٰ کے خوف کی وجہ سے آنسو بہہ نکلیں، خواہ وہ مکھی کے سر کے برابر ہی کیوں نہ ہوں، پھر وہ اس کے رخساروں پر بہیں تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کو جہنم پر حرام کر دے گا ۔

English Translation

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “There is no believing slave who sheds tears, even if they are like the head of a fly, out of fear of Allah, and they roll down his cheeks, but Allah will forbid him to the Fire.”
