It was narrated that 'Ammar bin Yasir said: Aishah dropped a necklace and stayed behind to look for it. Abu Bakr went to 'Aishah and got angry with her for keeping the people waiting. Then Allah revealed the concession allowing dry ablution, so we wiped our arms up to the shoulders. Abu Bakr went to 'Aishah and said: 'I did not know that you are blessed.'

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَقَطَ عِقْدُ عَائِشَةَ فَتَخَلَّفَتْ لِالْتِمَاسِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَانْطَلَقَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَتَغَيَّظَ عَلَيْهَا فِي حَبْسِهَا النَّاسَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الرُّخْصَةَ فِي التَّيَمُّمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَمَسَحْنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ إِلَى الْمَنَاكِبِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَانْطَلَقَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا عَلِمْتُ إِنَّكِ لَمُبَارَكَةٌ.

عمار بن یاسر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کا ہار ٹوٹ کر گر گیا، وہ اس کی تلاش میں پیچھے رہ گئیں، ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس گئے، اور ان پہ ناراض ہوئے، کیونکہ ان کی وجہ سے لوگوں کو رکنا پڑا، تو اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ نے تیمم کی اجازت والی آیت نازل فرمائی، عمار بن یاسر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے اس وقت مونڈھوں تک مسح کیا، اور ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس آئے، اور کہنے لگے: مجھے معلوم نہ تھا کہ تم اتنی بابرکت ہو ۱؎۔
