Sunan Ibn Majah 84 - The Book Of The Sunnah

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَذَكَرَ لَهَا شَيْئًا مِنَ الْقَدَرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ تَكَلَّمَ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنَ الْقَدَرِ سُئِلَ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ لَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ فِيهِ لَمْ يُسْأَلْ عَنْهُ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن ابی ملیکہ کہتے ہیں کہ   وہ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس آئے اور ان سے تقدیر کے سلسلے میں کچھ ذکر کیا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: جو تقدیر کے سلسلے میں ذرا بھی بحث کرے گا اس سے قیامت کے دن اس سلسلے میں سوال کیا جائے گا، اور جو اس سلسلہ میں کچھ نہ کہے تو اس سے سوال نہیں ہو گا ۔

English Translation

`Abdullah bin Abi Mulaikah narrated that his father entered upon `A'ishah and said something to her about the Divine Decree: She said: I heard The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'Whoever says anything about the Divine decree will be questioned about that on the Day of Resurrection, and whoever does not say anything about it will not be questioned about it.'
