It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When the reciter says Amin, then say Amin, for the angels say Amin, and if a person’s Amin coincides with the Amin of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الْقَارِئُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَمِّنُوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تُؤَمِّنُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ .

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب امام آمین کہے تو تم بھی آمین کہو، اس لیے کہ فرشتے بھی آمین کہتے ہیں، اور جس کی آمین فرشتوں کی آمین سے مل جائے، تو اس کے پچھلے گناہ بخش دئیے جائیں گے ۱؎۔
